Bradford to host first ever Bradford at Night conference targeted at the Night, evening and leisure Economy in conjunction with the Night Time Industries Association.

City leaders, business owners and industry experts from across the UK will come to Bradford as the city prepares to host Yorkshire’s first Night-Time Economy Conference.

Taking place in Bradford City Centre Venue at the Midland Hotel on September 18th from 1pm, the event is designed help shape the regions night and evening economy. Hosted by Bradford at Night and the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), the summit promises to be an unmissable opportunity for anybody involved in Yorkshire’s hospitality and leisure industry. A first for Yorkshire, the conference is set to turn the spotlight to an industry that is often considered as the nations ‘invisible economy’ but yet contributed £93.7 billion to the UK economy last year alone.

The Bradford based event will see speakers such as Sacha Lord, NTE Advisor for Greater Manchester, Michael Kill, CEO at NTIA, Doug McClean, CEO Tiffin Group and others from different perspectives across the industry, from Bradford based businesses discussing challenges they face everyday to leaders from neighbouring cities leaving behind the challenges Bradford and beyond are currently tackling. Another key feature of the event is providing attendees the opportunity to engage with top industry experts in a series of panel discussions aimed to tackle the most pressing issues facing the night-time economy today. Topics will include innovative strategies for growth, navigating regulatory challenges, and harnessing new trends to boost business.

Bradford at Night Managing Director, Elizabeth Murphy said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be putting Yorkshire’s night and evening economy centre stage, especially in Bradford. Because the city’s night scene is certainly not picture perfect, it has some major challenges to tackle and some huge steps to take. To bring industry experts both nationally and across the region to a city trying to build itself from decades of economic decline brings not only a spotlight to the support needed but a call to action for leaders that have failed to acknowledge a night time trade exists by ignoring decade long issues or providing adequate support for independent businesses fighting to survive in a struggling economy”

The full programme for “Igniting Yorkshire Night-Time Economy Conference” will be released over the coming weeks and attendees can immerse themselves into an afternoon of expert discussions, deep diving into issues and challenges from decreasing footfall and increasing business rates to support and resources available to help kick start the trade. The conference is more than a simple table discussion; its a call to action for everyone involved with the industry to come together, exchange ideas and work collaboratively in not only building a brighter future for Yorkshire’s night and evening economy, but to build a louder and stronger voice in holding local and national leaders to account for their actions directly impacting the night and evening economy.

With limited spaces available, early registration is strongly encouraged. This is a rare opportunity to participate in a high-calibre event that could significantly impact the future of your business and the broader night-time economy in Yorkshire. Attendance is free, but spaces are expected to fill quickly. To confirm your place head to the Bradford at Night website or use this link: https://buytickets.at/bradfordatnight/1325471
